Amon Amarth

Amon Amarth is a viking-themed melodic death metal band from Sweden founded in 1992 in Tumba, named after a location in J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth. The name means "Mount Doom" in Sindarin. The five Swedish musicians are known for basing their songs around Norse Mythology, with such tunes as The Arrival of The Fimbul Winter and Versus the World.

Formed under the name Scum, they switched to the name Amon Amarth in 1992 and released a demo recording, The Arrival of the Fimbul Winter, in 1994, selling all 1000 demo discs in less than 12 hours. With the release of the album Once Sent From the Golden Hall in 1998 their popularity rose on an international level and since has brought four multiple U.S. tours, two music videos and appearances in over 100 metal magazines.

Amon Amarth is:
Johan Hegg - vocals
Johan Söderberg - guitar
Olavi Mikkonen - guitar
Ted Lundström - bass
Fredrik Andersson - drums

Tracklist:
1. Twilight of the Thunder God 04:08
2. Free Will Sacrifice 04:08
3. Guardians of Asgaard 04:23
4. Where Is Your God? 03:11
5. Varyags of Miklagaard 04:18
6. Tattered Banners and Bloody Flags 04:30
7. No Fear For the Setting Sun 03:54
8. The Hero 04:04
9. Live For the Kill 04:11
10. Embrace of the Endless Ocean 06:44

It's kind of hard not to like Amon Amarth. While it's undeniable that the Swedes have hardly deviated from their tried and true formula over the past sixteen years, the band just kicks so much *** that the lack of progression isn't difficult to overlook. Factor in their constant improvement as well as the overall fun-ness (for lack of better term), and not even the band's ridiculously 'metal' image is off-putting. What separates Amon Amarth from a band like Motorhead, who release the same good album every other year, or a DragonForce/ACDC-type band that has written perhaps three songs over their careers, is that Amon Amarth manage to somehow stay fresh and interesting. Unsurprisingly, Twilight of the Thunder God does little to alter such sentiments.

Indeed, most should be aware by now of Amon Amarth's formula. Guitar-centric melodic death metal (you know, the kind with actual death metal) makes up the bulk of Twilight of the Thunder God, backed up by Norse lyrical themes, though fortunately without the folky melodies of your typical Viking metal band. That isn't to say that medieval passages fail to pervade the album's forty-three minute runtime; "Varyags of Miklagaard" and "Tattered Banners and Bloody Flags" each feature such melodies, but in both cases it's more of a subtle theme than anything else. Regardless, the blistering rhythm guitar tandem of Olavi Mikkonen and Johan Soderberg is much more prominent. The virtual backbone of Amon Amarth's sound, Mikkonen and Soderberg maintain an extremely accessible tone without sacrificing their aggression. Guitar harmonies accentuate the heavy riffing throughout much of Twilight of the Thunder God, and play a vital role in closing track, "Embrace of the Endless Ocean", a solemn piece more akin to Dark Tranquillity than anything else on the album. On the flipside, with "Where is Your God?" and parts of "Free Will Sacrifice", Amon Amarth opts for a more straight up death metal, with excellent results. Vocalist Johan Hegg is especially impressive in "Where is Your God?", leading the way with his rather frenzied, energetic growls. The remainder of the album simply ties the two styles together, highlighted by the anthemic title track and "The Hero", particularly the former, which is among the year's strongest opening tracks.

Alongside With Oden on Our Side, Twilight of the Thunder God just might be the strongest record Amon Amarth has written thus far. Certainly, it's essentially the same as all the rest of their albums, but it manages to get by without sounding redundant or stagnant. And this is certainly more than most of their contemporaries can attest to, there's no denying that. All in all, Twilight of the Thunder God is simply a fun listen, and one of the most exciting metal albums of the year, nothing more, nothing less. Considering that that is most likely all that Amon Amarth set out to do, they've passed with flying colours.

Coma White

Theres something cold and blank behind her smile
Shes standing on an overpass
In her miracle mile

You were from a perfect world
A world that threw me away today
Today to run away

A pill to make you numb
A pill to make you dumb
A pill to make you anybody else
But all the drugs in this world
Wont save her from herself

Her mouth was an empty cut
And she was waiting to fall
Just bleeding like a polaroid that
Lost all her dolls

You were from a perfect world
A world that threw me away today
Today to run away

A pill to make you numb
A pill to make you dumb
A pill to make you anybody else
But all the drugs in this world
Wont save her from herself

Glass Skin

My vision begins to blur,
The glass sky, the color of the wind,
The merry-go-round playing alone,
I wave,
My somehow faded voice is more important to me than my guilty conscience,
Tomorrow I sleep, leaving myself behind,
Emptier still than any tears of comedy,
Left to be just taken,
Left to be just damaged,
Here...

In the dark morning, I pretend the window to be a picture frame,
I wake my sleeping skin and press my hand against this wet piece of picture,
Spring blossoms and the petals fall, giving life to the river,
Swaying from side to side, where will you go?
I put my hand on the heavy and closed door,
The remains of the parade,
The silence laughs along with the fact that I won't be sleeping again tonight,

Emptier still than any tears of comedy,
Left to be just taken,
Left to be just damaged,
Here, let there be love...
The jokingly-dancing seasons endlessly hurt,
Left to be just taken,
Left to be just damaged,
And to be melted by the dreams I hold out,

I bleed as my way of compensating everything to you,
How heavy is blood?
Happiness and sadness lie too close,
The hand that will be born tomorrow, will be simply pure and nothing else,
I can barely see you now with all these tears,

Emptier still than any tears of comedy,
Left to be just taken,
Left to be just damaged,
Here, let there be love...
There is a ferris wheel, where I can look down and see you from,
The melody that just comes crumbling down is also so sweet and beautiful, it's frightening,
The shadow exposed by the sun is branded into my memory,
And it touches my heart more than any shallow words combined

Bygone

I realized i do still miss her. Oh well, i think i should carry on my life, let down the bygone to be bygone and keep moving on. *sigh* That should explained why i still single till now, hahaha. Hope she's happy with her life now :)

A Natural Disaster

It's been a long, cold winter
without you
I've been crying on the inside
Over you
You've just slipped through my fingers
So life turned away
It's been a long, cold winter
Since that day..
And it's hard to find, hard to find, hard to find the strength now
but I try
And I don't wanna, don't wanna, don't wanna, don't wanna to speak now
of what's gone by

Cause no matter what I say, no matter what I do
I can't change what happened, can't change what happened
No matter what I say, no matter what I do
Can't change what happened, can't change what happened
no matter what I say, no matter what I do
Can't change what happened, can't change what happened
No, no, can't change
You've just slipped through my fingers
And now I feel so ashamed
You've just slipped through my fingers
and I've paid

A Swarm of the Sun

A Swarm of the Sun delivers with The King of Everything a dark, brooding EP that sounds as if the chasms of hell have opened or, better said, are about to open. If one expects the chasms of hell to be filled with power metal and/or gay metal like Manowar; then one is wrong.

The King of Everything is subtle, powerful, and emotionally haunting, even if the band sounds like many a band we've heard before. Of course, this is not in the sense of A Swarm of the Sun blatantly ripping off other artists – Tool - but in the sense that we've heard this kind of music before. Still, this Swedish band manages to evolve within the EP, eventually leading up to a sound their own. “Refuge” and “King of Everything” sound aggressive. “A Mind But Not a Mouth,” an instrumental only track reminiscent of a repetitive and more chilled out Infected Mushrooms is followed by “The Grip,” which has a silent, calm and almost sad vibe. “An Animal in the Shape of God” is the same story as with “A Mind But Not a Mouth.” The King of Everything ends with “I Fear the End,” which forms a worthy and climatic end to the EP, if only because the band finally seems to settle on a sound of their own.

The King of Everything is solidly produced and it is obvious that it is an album that has been crafted with care. Still, when it is time for me to make a judgment, I remain opinionated that A Swarm of the Sun reminds me of Tool breeding with Neurosis and is, although not completely original, a haunting and solid EP. Good enough to make one curious for more, yet too standard to be memorable. The EP does bode well for the future and it has, which is always a good thing, rekindled my interest in the post-metal genre. I salute A Swarm of the Sun for this.

Cynic

Of the many bands that appeared in the Florida death metal craze in the late 80s/early 90s, Cynic is often overlooked, but not forgotten. Many believe that Florida consisted of the heavier, gore-ridden side of death metal. While this is partly true, the lesser known bands took their music into new territory, exploring new abilities and invoking thought. Cynic, alongside Death and Atheist, is the forerunner to this experimental side of death metal. Instead of sheer heaviness, Cynic incorporates jazz and ambient sections into their music while maintaining a level of technicality that is unheard of. Before splitting up in the mid 90s, Cynic left with merely one album, Focus, which stands as a testament to the opportunities of death metal.

Last lineup:
Jason Gobel - Guitars, guitar synth
Sean Malone - Bass, chapman stick
Paul Masvidal - Vocals, guitars, guitar synth
Sean Reinert - Keyboards, drums

Burst

The members of what was to become Burst first came together in Kristinehamn, Sweden. After extensive touring, the band released two albums, Shadowcaster and Two-Faced, on the label Melon Records. In 2000, the band released Conquest: Writhe on Prank Records, followed by the MCD In Coveting Ways. The latter release spawned a European Tour and saw the band continue to refine its sound, incorporating diverse influences while remaining rooted in a hardcore aesthetic. In 2003, with the release of Prey on Life and a deal with Relapse Records, Burst gained wider recognition within the underground, touring heavily alongside such bands as Mastodon and The Dillinger Escape Plan. The band's musical evolution culminated in the 2005, with the release of Origo. The album sees the band incorporate progressive, black, and death metal influences into their already distinctive sound.

Burst's 2008 Lazarus Bird
Tracklist:
1. I Hold Vertigo
2. I Exterminate The I
3. We Are Dust
4. Momentum
5. Cripple God
6. Nineteenhundred
7. (We Watched) The Silver Rain
8. City Cloaked

“I Hold Vertigo” is what an intentional accident would sound like. It just starts. And then it changes. Then it changes again. The lead track off Burst’s Lazarus Bird, “I Hold Vertigo” is written in a highly entropic fashion; tempos and rhythms change as frequently as the vocals do, which is often; guitars go from crunchy to spaced out -- in short, the song does whatever it feels like, whenever it feels like doing it, and it’s kind of a mess. Even as it seems like there’s no method to the madness, and even when it feels like there’s about fifty thousand and twelve more things going on than necessary, “I Hold Vertigo” is nonetheless somehow captivating, especially in hindsight. This is because it is so diarrhetic that it introduces everything you’ll hear throughout the album without any context or restraint. It’s kind of a cryptic trailer that doesn’t make sense until you get through the finished product, and it would be counter productive had it not been so intriguingly haphazard.

If you’re a little lost, I don’t blame you. I should probably have prefaced the review with some sort of mention about Burst’s past, about how these Swedes came out of the ashes of a crust-grind act and evolved into one of the more interesting progressive metal bands out today. I could probably have mentioned how they effectively blend sludgy post metal with rhythmic prog metal. And now that I have done just that, I -- like “I Hold Vertigo” does relative to Lazarus Bird -- plan to expand upon it.

As the summary suggests, Lazarus Bird is a musical fire that uses elements of Relapse alumni Neurosis and Mastodon as kindling, but to go as far as to call their music imitative would be doing the band an injustice. Yes, the bands penchant for rhythmic shifts does herald Remission-era Mastodon, and yes, their spacier moments to incur comparisons to Neurosis’ The Eye of Every Storm. But acknowledging the influence is doing only half of the work. Burst employ an interesting dynamic with their ability to sound both free and loose and tight and calculated. “Momentum” does its best to support this theory, shifting on a dime between twangy atmospherics and calculated, almost latin-tinged leads and syncopation. “Cripple God” is much the same, employing shaky, rattled vocal work alongside a two guitar line, with one guitar sprinkling quick notes and the other playing a counter-point, all before erupting into a chugging, driving passage. Avoiding the clichéd soft-to-loud technique that plagues the “so hot right now” world of post-metal in favour of this ideologically similar but sonically different sounding loose-to-tight dynamic makes an excellent argument for Burst’s originality. So while they employ sounds reminiscent of other notable acts, they implement them into their own unique formula, making it more allusive than imitative.

Anyone wondering about how Lazarus Bird stands-up against Origo, I’ll come right out and say it’s just flat out better. Origo may have laid the groundwork down but it was in many ways amateurish and a little too ahead of the band’s abilities. Unlike Origo, the ambient interludes and spaced-out passages do not feel like a mask to undeveloped song-ideas, and while Lazarus Bird is definitely no Onset of Putrefaction, Burst have definitely stepped it up from a technical standpoint. Vocally, Linus Jägerskog continues his upward climb and with guitarist Robert Reinholdz lending the occasional vocal back up, Lazarus Bird features a varied (but not to a fault) blend of shouting, yelling, clean singing and even growling, which is to my knowledge a first for the band. To some the vocals will be a detractor, if not for their variety than possibly for Linus’ Swedish accent, which is never more prominent than in “We Are Dust”. And if his way of pronouncing fire (fah-you’re) gets on your nerves, the bridge that follows is so effective that you’ll soon get over it. That’s because the guitar work is always proficient, whether axe-wielders Robert Reinholdz and Jonas Rydberg are playing a precise lead, chugging along rhythmically or spacing out for minutes at a time. If Brann Dailor was a little less in love with himself and a lot less hopped up on caffeine, he’d probably sound a lot like Patrik Hultin, who’s always noticeably above average but never dominating the music with pushy fills. He, like Jesper Liveröd (who tears it up on the bass) are after-all part of the rhythm section.

All the creativity and proficiency aside, Lazarus Bird is still not an album worthy of classic status. Instead it’s destined to be relegated to the underarms of sweaty metal-geeks worldwide. It has considerable energy and a definite “it-factor” and while it’s not entirely transcendent, it certainly demands attention. Lazarus Bird is an anomaly in the “progressive” metal world in that it’s legitimately progressive and that it doesn’t sound anything like Queensryche.

Highly recommended and without question one of the top releases of 2008.

Disillusion

Back To Times Of Splendor album

Tracklist
1. ...And The Mirror Cracked
2. Fall
3. Alone I Stand In Fire
4. Back To Times Of Splendor
5. A Day By The Lake
6. The Sleep Of The Restless Hours

Disillusion, for this record, is made up of:
Vurtox - Vocals, Guitars, Bass, Keyboards
Rajk Barthel - Guitars
Jens Maluschka - Drums

...And the Mirror Cracked: This song starts right off with a heavy setting to it. I really like the riff. This continues, and at one minute into the song Vurtox's vocals are shown. His growls are good, they fit very well with the music. His clean vocals soon take the place of his harsh grunts, he's very talented. It slightly reminds me of some power metal vocalists, but not when they are singing in a high falsetto. At roughly 3 and a half minutes into the song, everything calms down. Acoustics join in, and it sounds nice. It's my favorite part of the song. Vurtox's clean vocals come back in, and there is a solo of sorts, and the song seems like it's going to get heavy but it doesn't. Once everything becomes totally quiet, all of a sudden the beginning of the song is repeated. It's a nice ending to a great song. 5/5

Fall: The beginning riff reminds of sludge metal for some reason. The drumming is very excellent on this record, the ride cymbal is highly utilized in this song. It is also completely clean vocals from Vurtox. The way his voice is layered in many of the songs on this album is tasteful. The best part of this song is the chorus, it's a beautiful thing. 4.5/5

Alone I Stand in Fires: This is my personal favorite off the album. It kicks off with the sound of a man breathing, then with some nice cymbal work. Guitars fade in, then start full force with a riff you just have to nod your head to. During the verses of this song, a effect is placed on Vurtox's voice. It's odd, yet it fits. The chorus, just as in Fall, is the best part of this song. In the prechorus, Vurtox uses his clean vocals, but then switch to his growls which work so well. "But today, today will be my day!" is very moving. The song ends with some piano notes. This song is amazing. 5/5

Back to Times of Splendor: This song starts off with some violin, which I find to be a great add-on to the music. Guitars and drums come crashing in with the violin, which is one of the many high points of the album. Vurtox has some great lyrics in this one, and Rajk and his riffs are impeccable. Throughout the song, the violins fade in and fade out, and it just is an excellent addition. At 7 minutes into the song, everything drops out except the sound of rain and some birds chirping. Then drums and bass come in, and I must say I admire the drummer on this record. He's pretty versatile and mixes it up a lot. Anyway, the song continues to be soft and with Vurtox singing cleanly. The acoustic guitars add an atmosphere to the music. A beautiful guitar solo is played, and then the album gets heavy again, and this is probably the heaviest point on the album. The vocals remind me of Nergal from Behemoth, and that's brutal if you know Behemoth. This is a great song. 5/5

A Day by the Lake: I don't like this song as much as the rest of the songs on this record, but that isn't because it's the lightest. It's mostly acoustic guitars and all sung vocals. I feel a lot of Opeth influence on this one especially, but I feel it all over the album due to the progressive/death combination. This song ends too abruptly also, but it's still alright. 4/5

The Sleep of the Restless Hour: This is the longest song of the album, spanning over 17 minutes. It starts off with some acoustic guitars, with Jens playing around with his cymbals. The heaviness kicks in, a nice riff with some cool drum work. Everyone delivers a wonderful performance in this song, especially Vurtox with his vocal work. And about 12 minutes in, there is silence, and for the remainder of the song we are treated to an instrumental. This a great way to end an album. 5/5

Disillusion is most definitely an excellent band. I'd say the band the resemble the most is Opeth, but there are still many differences between them. All in all, I give this album a 5/5, it's great and all metal fans should enjoy it. Vurtox is a mastermind.

Music ( act : 1)

When I looks around me, mostly chinese guys at my ages or either younger or older, stick to those floppy chinese songs or those rnb/pop/hip hop and those radio friendly stuff music. I was kinda like, -.- ( I totally cant stand those "friendly aura" kind of music) Its making me so weak, sick, flu, stomachache and wadsoever sickness that can weaken me.
No, not meaning that i against those music, just that my inner self cant accept it. Dont ask me, me myself also dont know why. The only music I can accept is metal, yeap, those noisy stuff that our parents totally hate, the music thats the heavier the better. Its not like I dint listen to other kind of music, I do, seriously do. But I just cant digest those things the whole freakin days, total NO. For me, those music's style were the same, the structure of the songs, the melody and lyric, all the same tune for me. Why? Cause mostly those songs are written and composed by those same few composers, thats why. Compare to metal music, they write/play/compose and some even published own songs/labels. This is why they're alot ( WAY LOT ) better than mainstreamers.
For example, you listen to "not-so-complicated" plan and "average" Charlotte or the "jonkers" brothers and "deleted" 5, compared their music. They all sounds the same, totally. Why I say so? Easy. You can even predicted the next line of lyric/music before they end the current line. And all their stuff, sadly ( honestly ) to say so, sounds totally the same. And some even worse, they all depends on their appearance to boost their album sales. Argh. That's not music, thats propaganda, record company's business trick to tricked and get your money for some studio bands ( those who only sings well in studio due to studio adjustment stuff and totally out of tunes during live) Worth your money? I dont think so.
While metal music? They got alot sub genre, i mean, a HELL LOT. Dont believe? Do believe it. Why? Haha. Dare me, does hip hop or pop or those floppy music got alot other genre? As in progressive, melodic, hard, sludge, heavy, speed, doom, core, black, alternative, slow, ballad, death, grind, fringe, power, epic, goth, symphony, trance, art, viking, Scandinavian, industrial, instrumental, folk, post and nu? You wont get bored, i mean, seriously wont cause you can always listen to any genre thats suits your mood and taste. Response to people who always claims that metal are only noisy music and cant listen to lyric cause the singer just growls all the way, you guys are totally wrong. As I mention earlier, metal got so much sub genre, you can listen to art or progressive ( ambient or jazz lover) or power/epic/goth/symphony for high tune ( those orchestra's lover) rapcore and nu ( for hip hop/rnb lover) melodic and alternative ( for modern rock lovers) and trance and industrial( for, erm, obviously trance/techno lovers)
Tell me now, how can you get bored when you can get all those mainstream's stuff in metal?

The One Little Wolf and the Big Bad Mafia Pigs

The Little Wolf was strolling down the sidewalk, humming and singing in tune with the little birds and animals that so conveniently donned the hyperbolic happy scene. All was right with the world and best of all; The Little Wolf was going to bring a basket of goodies to his old granny in the Happy Meadows Retirement Home. Little did The Little Wolf know, all this good was about to change. Most decent parents teach their children to not go walking in the woods alone, all by yourself - but, The Little Wolf, unfortunately, was taught otherwise. His parents had always said, “Oh, son, its fine! You’re at the top of the Food Chain, remember?” and, “Now, Wolfie, what did I say to you about doing your homework? Go outside, and walk around in the uncharted wilderness.” Yes, very tragic. For, you see, The Little Wolf was a very harmless creature. He wasn’t a nerd by any means, of course, what with his chess tournament trophies and cleanest pocket protector awards. Why, he was a regular stud! But it wasn’t until today, that The Little Wolf’s real ability was tested.

While The Little Wolf was walking down the cheerful lane, a trio of miscreants waited in the distant bushes, waiting for a gullible geek or hobo to walk down with some cool shit to steal. This day they were lucky; they had found a mixture of both! Six bleary eyes watched the Little Wolf as he came closer and closer. With ease, the Big Bad Pigs pounced out of the bushes right in front of The Little Wolf. One said, “Gives us all yur monies!” The other, better educated pig said in a gentlemanly fashion, “I do say, old bean, it would be a terrible shame if you weren’t so kind to give us your wallet. If you don’t hand it over, we might resort to violence and all manner of unrealishable activities, eh wot?” The final and more level-headed of the Big Bad Pigs said, “Look, buddy, just give us what’s in the basket and no one gets hurt, alright?” The Little Wolf stared blankly at the pigs for a moment before replying awkwardly, “I’m sorry I can’t let you take what’s in here, it’s for my granny.” The British-bent pig said, “Aww! Well, ain’t that just the cutest bloody bloomin’ thing you ever have seen?” All three of the Pigs burst out in scorning laughter, not noticing the sly smile that spread across the wolf’s face. Then the first Pig said, “Be seriously, either give us that basket or we’ll make you give it to us, The Boss really said he needed it.” “Vinne, you moron! We weren’t supposed to talk about The Boss!” said the last Pig. The second Pig said, “Oh, dear. It seems we have said too much and now we need to ruff him up. Nothing personal, old chum, but we really must hurt you now.” The Pigs Drew closer to the Little Wolf, who the whole time was gripping something inside the basket. The Pigs drew pistols and began to draw even closer. The Little Wolf then quickly pulled out a smoke grenade and AK-47 and started to reign down upon The Pigs with a barrage of bullets. The Pigs ran off, screaming as they went: “You watch out! Now the mob is after you! The Boss is gonna take care of you!” and with that, The Pigs Vanished into the foliage.

A few uninterrupted hours later, The Little Wolf had successfully delivered the basket of goodies to his granny and was on a computer researching the Pig Mafia. It turned out, he found that The Pig Mafia was actually a very notorious crime group that had plagued the innocent little animals of the town of Happy Meadows for a many years. He also found out that it was run by Billy Francisco Jebbadiah Wilkenhiemer van Jhenson, otherwise know as "Zed" or “The Boss”. Billy was about to give up researching when he saw a final line at the bottom of the page that said: “Questions or comments? Visit the Pig Mafia homepage at www.pigmafia.crimeorg or e-mail The Boss at BFJWvJhenson@secretcrimegroupsandrunescape.net ” This was obviously a lead. The Little Wolf clicked the link to the Pig Mafia homepage, which simultaneously took him to his desired destination and unleashed untold amounts of spam and computer viruses upon the innocent little public library computer. Billy quickly jotted down the address of the Pig Mafia’s Secret Hideout and left to hunt down the rapscallions who so dearly wished to ruin his perfect day. The Little Wolf decided to wait until midnight to infiltrate the Pig Mafia hideout simply for the sake of dramatic effect. When the town clock struck twelve, the Little Wolf picked the lock to the hideout and was inside. He crept down a hallway, sneaky as a silent fart, and found the door to The Boss’s office. While he was attempting to pick the lock to the door, it was thrust opened. The Little Wolf found himself staring into the angry face of the Boss.

The Boss smoothly said, “I’ve been expecting you, little wolf.” “How do you know my name?!” asked The Little Wolf in a flabbergasted manner. The Boss replied, “I don’t, I just say that to everyone who comes to my door, who the heck are you?” “I,” said the Little Wolf, “am Archibald P. Wolf, and you sent your goons after me this morning. I’m here to kick you butt for ruining my perfect day!” “oh, is that so? Well, I won’t be coming quietly. You’ll have to duel me!!!” And, without further ado, they sprang at each other. The duel was on! The Boss quickly flipped out a rune skimmy, easily popping an eleven on The Little Wolf. Wolfie countered with a Spartan Laser attack and a bubble shield. Not one to be thwarted by such a simple adversary, The Boss started vigorously screaming the “Dora the Explorer” theme song and flailing his arms around wildly. The Little Wolf was so startled by this, that he jumped and hit the incandescent light fixture on the ceiling, causing an inconveniently placed bottle of gasoline to explode and render them both unconscious.

When The Little Wolf woke up, he was face up in a hospital bed, next to The Boss. They realized that they couldn’t attack each other, so they exchanged injuring glances and painful words like “poopy-sniffer” and “monkey-slapper”. When they became tired of the fruitless exercise, they both softened up and The Boss said, “I guess I’m kinda sorry that I sent hit men to rob and kill you.” “It’s okay,” said The Little Wolf, “I’m kinda sorry that I tried to hunt you down and kill you over the fact that you ruined my day.” “Friends?” asked The Boss. “Friends,” said The Little Wolf. And they both awkwardly tried to shake hands but were foiled by the fact that they were in full-body casts. Everything was happy, the town of Happy Meadows was free from a menace and Wolfie had finally made a friend. All was right with the world…until- haha, just kidding, the story’s over, I had you scared that there was more didn’t I?

Stakan Paintball Game

I just back from paintball game at stakan sport centre ( somewhere nearby kota sentosa area, opposite the badminton court/futsal). All of the players are from toyota's friends, 7 of them and me.
Quite fun, we play rm50 per game and extra rm50 for more ammo, total all 225 pellets per person. Play for around 3 hours, 8 games. The result?

Full body bruised, a headshot, a close range shots ( 4 shots ) and total excitement. Looking forward for the next coming game, wuhuhuhuh

Cold Night

Sometimes I wish things was way back like last time. Way back when I was happier. Oh well, things have to move on. That's why we grew up day from day.

And The Mirror Cracked

It came from dismal shadows
Creeping, sudden, from behind.
fell upon my merry whistle
darkened me at heart and sight.
Back with me, one again with the memory
Again I behold the ruins
that I left when I was all devoured by wrath

Last night out in the timber
a thousand torrent's vehemence
came rushing through my veins
Up my throat and filled the eyes,
And then that I knew
all pain will be undone
When I pack my bags
And depart for lonely roads

And with courageous verve I stride
chop the heads off flowers aside, still wondering

How come you never bleed
When I stab right into your back.
How come you never choke
When I drown you in the sea

Merely hours passed
that I had left him to his mountains
his colossal idols - one for every spear in me.
Slopes so steep,
I could not conquer in a lifetime.
Now they're all but ruins,
Ruins I left behind.

There is always one waiting for me, my beloved
I shall be with her again so soon.
craving for her lips, her kiss
Her hair in summer winds
The morning dew dripping down her breasts.

Shadows and Flames.

I have been demure
Cries were silent but heart ablaze.
have been one of his shadows
Condemned to stray an unlit maze.
My feet are numb, soles torn wide open
After endless years of clambering
My path is lit and leads me north.

How come you never bleed
When I stab right into your back,
How come you never choke
When I drown you in the hot and burning sea?

Truth

Pitch black. That's all I could see from human relationship and interaction between each other. They corrupted among themselves and killing each others for own benefits. Whats life and history teach us? Nothing. Human never learn from mistakes. They're meant to destroy each other till the end. Till the last pieces. I hate posers. Fuck them. Fuck fakers. Fuck masqueraders. FUCK

Mazohyst Of Decadance

A fetus is the product of irresponsible adults.
Here I am,
Without a name.
I don't even know why I'm here
I don't even know
if I just live for a few months

I want to be loved. I want to be born.
Staring at the inside of the mother's body,
I felt something go fast.
It was the second month of consciousness
I can't do anything yet.
Before long, here comes a plug

I was scraped out.
The pain goes through my incomplete body
My mother's screaming stings my ears.
People in white gowns picked me up
In their cruel eyes, I see myself,
covered with blood without a right arm
They wrapped me in a black plastic sheet
Loosing consciousness, I try to think calmly
If you love me the way I am,
even if I'm deformed, it is fine with me
I can't forgive you

If you can't love me, I rather die as I am
That's why I don't bother to cry
like a newborn baby,
and I'll just sleep in peace
Just once,
I want to feel my mother's love with my hand
This may be love.
Thank you
The door was tightly closed
and will never open again
I must be yours in the future

Are you really sure about this?
Yes.
How many times have you had an abortion?
This is the first time for me
I've been involved in countess abortions, murders.
Can you forgive me?
I'm asking you one more time.
Are you sure about this?
Yes.
Are you ready?
Yes.
Let's get started.

La, la, la...

The body will be burnt until it has disappeared

Kodou

The sadness on the face will probably be gone tomorrow
When did my eyes become dead?

What is waiting for me tomorrow as I sing and live without meaning?
Alone in my room as my heartbeat screams
Don't kid yourself and don't fool yourself

I am addicted to the perceived fate
I am alone I ling on to this fate
Don't kid yourself and don't wound yourself

The unstoppable rain The unstoppable sound The unstoppable scar
The unstoppable love The unstoppble song...
I can't stop it anymore
I can't handle t anymore

Kill the voice Close your eyes Drown in the darkness Roam around
I won't depend on anyone anymore
Kill the voice Close your eyes Drown in the darkness Roam around
I keep inside your keen voice...
All in darkness

It's such an irony this bright sunny weather
-Good Morning-

Kowarete Iku Sekai

Because it's white, it's said it wants to be white
Because it's white, something can be blended in
The water in a little bowl became clear
Little by little the colours faded away

Eventually humans corrupt
Humans can be discolored by other humans
This star they both live on together is discolored
They strangle themselves

How do you describe the time
when the trees coldly looked up at the building that towers above?

The earth is touched by a bloodied hand
Without kindness, flowers withered and died
And by that hand, which has no heart,
the future without sins is murdered

Eventually humans corrupt
Humans can be discolored by other humans
This star they both live on together is discolored
They strangle themselves

In this civilization what sort of life do you picture is the one we wanted?
In this selfish egotistical struggle
What was shed was not blood, but the tears of the planet
The Earth, born so billions of years ago
The proportion of time we've been in existence is just a few seconds
We have not aided in the recovery of the planet
We have not lived our lives in order to help the earth
However, we alone have known an unblemished love

The End is near by, but you who have known love will be all right

this lyric was by a jrock band named girugÄmesh

So Long, Good Bye

Keep changing your mind.
Like clouds in the sky.
Love me when your high.
Leave me when you cry.
I know it all takes time.
Like a river running dry when the suns to bright.

So long this is good-bye.
Maybe we'll meet again in another life.
Like strangers passing by.
Maybe we'll see clearly in a different light.

Keep dodging lights.Like a thief in the night.
The sun will rise and expose all the lies.
So why deny that you and I lead different lives.
The rivers from your eye's can't change my mind.

So long this is good-bye.
Maybe we'll meet again in another life.
Like strangers passing by.
Maybe we'll see clearly in a different light.

Ohh...
The rivers from your eye's can't change my mind.

So long this is good-bye.
Maybe we'll meet again in another life.
Like strangers passing by.
Maybe we'll see clearly in a different light..

Heaven is when the police are British, the chefs Italian, the mechanics German, the lovers French and it is all organized by Swiss. Hell is where the police are German, the chefs British, the mechanics French, the lovers Swiss and it is all organized by Italians.
